Wall featuring Blindworm Guitars

Folklore and mythology are painted with stories of heroes and powerful figures who personified their most valued possessions.  Legends abound of master artisans pouring their very own essence into their creations, giving them life.  These craftsmen gave birth to singing harps, swords with their own consciousness, and talismans as personal and influential as a best friend.  Breathing such life into personified companions is the lifeblood of Blindworm Guitars. A culmination of Andrew Scott’s lifelong passion, Blindworm Guitars, creates breath-taking instruments of the highest caliber in precision and functionality with unique and organic designs.  Accompanied by Scott’s sculpting of the entire guitar itself, contouring comfortably to the player’s body, and fully incorporated into the theme down to the small details of the design, sets Blindworm Guitars apart.

Beyond the sculpting, the aesthetics of Blindworm’s creations bring life to the vibrant natural hues of raw unstained and unpainted woods.  Each block of wood was personally hand and ear selected for tone, resonance, beauty, strength, and appropriate weight and balance.

Kelly joined Andrew as co-creator of the Blindworm brand in 2013.  Together they have an extensive lifelong passion for creating: granite sculpting, fine woodworking, artistic built-ins and furniture, restaurant decor, sign-making, guitar and amplifier manufacturing, costume and set design, antique car restoration and mods, mural work, toy making, and much more. Kelly also focuses on elaborate mechanical sculpture, graphic design, fabric arts, and an endless list of creations.  Andrew also runs a private recording studio and provides premium sound support.  He has served as Artistic Director for the annual Manitou Springs Carnival from 2003 to 2011, and is currently working on larger scale musical instrument design and patents.  Together, Kelly and Andrew are ever-expanding and evolving their visions with music, art, performance, and video production.
