Larkspur Rose

This guitar was a custom build for Victor Genna as a gift from his wife, Becca. The Larkspur Rose is adorned with a motif of the Cancer Crab and Gemini twin woman interlocked to form the body of the guitar. Elaborate carving, inlay, choice materials, intense electronics.

Wormy Maple body, with fully-carved Padauk Cancer Crab, that doubles as the humbucker adjuster ring, curly maple Gemini women, and purple heart cap with reveal exposing body wing and neck section where controls are. Women’s arms continue onto fretboard via inlay of the same wood.

    The “Chinook” Lord of the mountain wind.  The Chinook is an embodyment of the mischievious Chinese wind-god, “Fei Lian”.  The early springtime winds in Colorado, the home of Blindworm Guitars, are called Chinook winds. Like the winds of Fei Lian, the Chinook winds cause havoc, knocking over buildings, breaking tree limbs, and causing chaos. The design of the “Chinook” incorporates both the traditional depiction of Fei Lian himself, as well as angular spirals representing both the wind and its power.
