Located in the beautiful Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Blindworm Guitars is the brainchild of luthier Andrew Scott (shown left). His desire to stretch the boundaries of woodworking has led to the creation of the instruments on this website. The unique materials and sleek design work are important, but Andrew's obsessions are precision and sound quality. He isn't making wall art, he is creating sonic masterpieces.

Andrew's focus in woodworking is to pair rare and interesting woods with unique materials and design work. He LOVES input and will build an instrument to suit the customer's desires. The granite fingerboard in the picture was the owner's idea. (The bass in the picture was not complete at the time. Click here to see the completed one!) Andrew's goal is to make each customer FULLY satistfied with and excited about his or her purchase (note satisfied and excited customer in pic!).

Besides granite, Andrew has been known to use many semi-precious stones, jade, dinosaur bone and teeth, and even metereorite! Between your imagination, and his, the possibilities are endless!
